Vyprošťovací kotva slouží jako pomůcka k vyproštění vlasce, montáže, nebo čehokoli co rybáři uvázne pod vodní hladinou. Lze s ní docela úspěšně pročistit lovné místo od starých vlasců a větví. Pokud vaše montáž uvázne v travinách, nebo slabších větvích, je velmi pravděpodobné, že vám tato kotva pomůže. Jednoduše uvolníte zajištění třmenu, třmen navléknete na kmenový vlasec a zase zajistíte. Pak kotvu spustíte až do míst uváznutí.
